Katerina is a Greek-British dance artist and educator currently serving as the Assistant Head of Dance at LMA University. In this role, she contributes to the strategic planning and development of dance programmes, ensuring a dynamic and enriching learning experience for students. Katerina is dedicated to promoting a culture of excellence, inclusivity and creativity within the dance department.

She earned her Master of Arts with Distinction from London Contemporary Dance School. Her academic journey included performances in works by esteemed choreographers such as Leila McMillan, Carlos Maria Romero and Rick Nodine. She has further enriched her skills through workshops with acclaimed guest artists like Eva Recacha, Lea Tirabasso, Temitope Ajose-Cutting, Frauke Requardt, Ben McEwen, Michaela Polley, among others.

Katerina has had the privilege of performing on renowned stages, including the Barbican, Sadler’s Wells, Wilton’s Music Hall and The Place Theatre. Beyond the stage, she collaborates with dance academies, schools and universities, delivering diverse classes in Ballet, Contemporary, Pilates, Dance Conditioning, both in-person and online. She has overseen various full-scale performance productions in the UK and internationally.

Additionally, Katerina has been a GCSE Dance teacher and a practitioner for the Royal Academy of Dance. She participated in New York City’s Go Purple Day for Domestic Violence Awareness Month, collaborating with Kinesis Project Dance Theater. Furthermore, she has contributed to research on body-centered textile expressions for architectural design with Marina Castan Cabrero.

Katerina has participated in workshops across Europe and the United States and has served as the Assistant Development Director for The Vanessa Long Dance Company in New York City. She has collaborated with Matsena Productions, Kennedy Muntanga Dance Theatre, Kader Attou, Payne Productions, Blanca Li, among others.

Currently based in London, Katerina continues to perform, choreograph and teach, spreading the joy of movement.
